Location

Fly into San Francisco International Airport (SFO) or Sacramento International Airport (SMF). SFO is an 86-mile drive to your hotel accommodations and SMF is an 80-mile drive. Because Calistoga is a very small town, we don't recommend renting a vehicle unless you would like to venture into neighboring valleys for wine tours and hikes. Napa is a 27-mile drive from Solage. If you prefer to have a rental vehicle at your disposal, we recommend Avis, our club partner. To arrange transportation to and from the airport without a rental vehicle, talk to your hotel concierge. In Calistoga, Lincoln Avenue and Washington Street play home to the most shops and restaurants and you can easily rent a bicycle from Calistoga Bike Shop for the day.

This is such a very special place from beginning to end. So comfortable and just everything was perfect. Highly recommend. The fireplaces are wonderful. It was a great walking location. You don't even really need a car. 10/10 in every possible way.

Beautiful and relaxing resort

We had a wonderful and very relaxing time at Solage. The staff was very welcoming and attentive. We stayed in one of the Silverado Suites which has a wonderful private patio and an in ground jacuzzi - which we enjoyed every night. The food was awesome - for every meal. So nice to be eating someone else's cooking after 15 months of this pandemic!!! The grounds are beautiful and I enjoyed a facial at the spa. The only negative is the furniture in the sitting room was not comfortable at all. Not good for lounging next to the fireplace and no desk chair for doing any work......only a stool. I would still highly recommend this resort as we didn't spend a lot of time indoors.
