Ideal For: Business Travelers, Urban Explorers, Culture Cravers, Couples
Style: Luxurious, Historic, Eclectic
Vibe: Classic New York City Hotel in the Heart of Lower Manhattan

  • A 19th-century landmark hotel that’s been passionately restored with a stunning nine-story Victorian atrium and pyramidal skylight
  • Two restaurants by renowned restauranteurs Tom Colicchio and Keith McNally
  • Centrally located in Lower Manhattan near One World Trade Center
  • 287 rooms and suites

After you cross the mosaic marble threshold and step into Bar Room of the historic Beekman hotel, be sure to look up. At the hotel’s center lies an extraordinary nine-story atrium, restored to its Victorian-era splendor and crowned by a pyramidal skylight. With vintage Persian rugs, antique glass lamps, and a curated art collection, the hotel offers guests a peek into its historic past. Still, modern touches including courtesy Lexus house cars keep the hotel firmly rooted in the 21st century. The Beekman is within short walking distance to The World Trade Center, the newly designed Seaport District, and world-class dining and shopping in Tribeca and Soho.

Location

If you’re flying into New York City, you’ll arrive at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) or LaGuardia Airport (LGA). JFK is about 18 miles from the Beekman Hotel, while LGA is 14 miles away. We don’t recommend renting a car while you’re visiting New York City; the city’s robust subway system can get you everywhere you need to go. You’ll also be able to reach many sites on foot. The Beekman is located in the heart of Lower Manhattan, walking distance from Mario Batali’s newest Eataly Downtown, luxury retail at Brookfield Place and world class dining and shopping in Tribeca and Soho.
