Location

The hotel is located about 20 miles from Rome's Leonardo da Vinci Fiumicino International Airport (FCO). We don’t recommend renting a car while in Rome, given its massive size, major traffic, and winding streets. Exploring by foot or bicycle is an excellent way to soak in the city's history and sights.

Best service ever

Having stayed at several hotels in Rome, this one has the best service and the most pleasant staff we have ever experienced. The quality of the rooms was great and the location perfect.

A memorable and extremely pleasant vacation!

The Hotel de la Vile staff was friendly and attentive to all of our needs. The concierge staff arranged all of our tours, which were lead by knowledgable and professional guides who shared and explained so much of Roman history to us.

The hotel was clean and the staff was courteous and made us feel as if we were at home. Restaurants were delightful with excellent service.

We highly recommend Hotel de le Ville for your stay in Rome!

Hotel de la Ville

Hotel de la Ville is in a wonderful central location near the Spanish Steps. Short walk to the Trevi fountain and very close to luxury shopping. Centrally located between the Colosseum and the Vatican/St Peter's although those are longer walks (and you walk a LOT at both those sites so you have to factor that in). Hotel was very clean and modern. Staff was friendly and they were able to honor early checkin at 2 when we arrived in Rome from a cruise and that was great because we could get ready for a tour at 3. Service was very personal and excellent. The restaurant downstairs was just fabulous for lunch. And they gave us great recommendations for dinners within walking distance. Great rooftop bar with views. Wonderful hotel from which to explore the City.
