Santa Barbara Airport is about a 25-minute drive from this residence. Most major airlines service this airport. A rental car is recommended to visit all the nearby sights and activities. Older, but great house still. Location is excellent with easy drives to beach and stores.

Lap pool is perfect, BUT caution with children--no fencing!

Downside: terrible internet, only accessible from living room and kitchen.

Joel was Wonderful as concierge! We had a problem with washing machine and he promptly arranged for repair.

Great communicator!


We would certainly stay there again

Family gathering for our son's wedding

Poppy is a fantastic residence. The inside of the home is lovely and very functional. The expansive outdoor areas -- with lush landscaping, heated pool, comfortable seating and dining areas, raised garden, and putting green -- are exceptional. The setting is very private and its location is ideal for events at San Ysidro Ranch and the Rosewood Hotel (and also very close to downtown Santa Barbara). Joel was terrific - welcoming us with a charcuterie, patiently answering our questions as we got oriented to the residence and area, responding to follow-up inquiries on a moment's notice, and providing a gracious sendoff when we departed. All in all, one of our favorite Inspirato trips!

We had a relaxing and lovely weekend in Montecito!

We invited our family and a few of our friends to enjoy a relaxing long weekend at the Poppy. The house was comfortable, welcoming and also had a lovely backyard for us to enjoy together. All generations found things that were fun, including a heated pool, a putting green, a barbecue area, and even fresh strawberries (ok for our granddaughter to pick a few) growing in the garden. We were within walking distance to Butterfly Beach and stopped by the Rosewood hotel for refreshments after enjoying time at the shore. The house was secluded and private in a nice neighborhood.

Our host Joel gave excellent attention to the details of our trip and helped us make reservations at a few restaurants & made great suggestions for activities. We highly recommend the restaurants we visited-Tres Lune & The Stone House. We appreciated the relaxing living room and den with the gas fireplace - cozy on a rainy evening. The kitchen was simple but well equipped and were able to make a few breakfasts for our group. Perfect for a relaxing getaway.

Beautiful Home!

We spent Christmas with our extended family (10 total) at Poppy and enjoyed every moment of it. The house is centrally located near restaurants and shops within Montecito and only a 5 - 10 minute drive to downtown Santa Barbara.

Our whole family comfortably fit, with room to spare. The pool and outdoor seating areas are perfect for Santa Barbara weather.

Our host, Joel, was thoughtful in the planning of our trip, making it one to remember.

Should we come back to Santa Barbara as a family, we will absolutely look to stay here!

Our concierge and the house

Liv did a wonderful job staying in touch with us constantly, making suggestion, finding things to do, greeting us at the home, and all in all could not have been better. The home was perfect for our large family and bonus; it had just been re-furnished and decorated !!!
