Leave your gear by the lift at the end of the day; you'll have complimentary ski storage near the base of Gondola 1 (please note that ski gear is not allowed in the home).
You will be able to see the walls of the adjacent transportation center from your terrace but it's well worth looking over them for the views of Golden Peak.
You may be able to hear traffic and snow plows early in the morning.
Many of the attractions in Vail Village operate seasonally, so be sure to check availability with your Destination Concierge.

December Ski Trip

Love Solaris and have stayed at numerous other units through Inspirato previously. Lodgepole is on 3rd floor so one thing you can't get away from is the daily cooking aroma from Matsuhishi which starts around 5 pm and goes until 10 pm. The unit is very well appointed, but the mattresses in all rooms are very soft and need to be replaced. Lighting is dim in a lot of rooms but overall we loved our stay and Inspirato services and concierge delivered over the top service as usual.

Perfect location, wonderful concierge team!

We loved our Solaris residence...the entire staff at Solaris was professional and responsive and so friendly. It was so awesome to have Matsuhisa in the building! Also, the Inspirato Lounge was fun to walk into for a snack or happy hour wine and beer. Wish there were more physical Inspirato Lounge locations. Solaris is perfectly located in Vail Village, lots of hiking trails, restaurants and activities right outside your door. Local concierge team was superb and stayed in close contact daily.

Review of my Inspirato trip to Vail

My recent trip to Vail was outstanding on ALL fronts. The property exceeded my expectations--the location was perfect, in the center of Vail village-the Inspirato staff was excellent and attentive - the Inspirato Lounge was a great option to have!!! I cannot say enough positives regarding our trip. Thank you Inspirato.

Perfect trip!

We stayed in Lodgepole at Solaris. The location is wonderful! The trip was planned to celebrate a 75th and 50th birthday. Everyone was able to walk to all the restaurants and shops with no problems. The residence was spacious and well designed. For dinners, I would recommend El Segundo, Flame and Bol(great place for kids too since we actually bowled). Alpenrose serves an amazing salad for lunch. Little Dinner was a big hit for breakfast. Overall, it was a wonderful trip!

Vail in summer....

We have always loved the mountains in summer....Vail is a special place in summer. Hiking, biking, golf, fishing within 10 miles of Vail Village all best in class. AND....dinning/art scene/music is world class. Inspirato properties and service provides access to best of the best. Recommend Sonnenalp Hotel for quiet, luxury hotel right on Gore Creek. Best hotel spa facility in mountain states. Inspirato's properties at Solaris (combined with their premium concierge service) is excellent for groups of 4 or larger. We found a couple of mountainside Inspirato homes in Vail that are next on our list. we WILL be back!!!
