Wonderful time in Maui!

The ocean view king room has a very tight bathroom but the bedroom is roomy. If you can I'd suggest upgrading to the king suite if you're looking for more space. The service and location can't be beat! Very close to local restaurants , golf courses, farmers market, shops at Wailea and other resorts for dining options. The food at the Andaz is great and very fresh tasting so we found rather then go out most nights we stayed at the Andaz for options. The staff is great and very welcoming, resort felt very clean and safe and mask wearing in public spaces was enforced. Pool options great as well as the ocean and beach. We are looking forward to a return visit.

Wailea and the Whales

We have been to Wailea many times. We now go strictly in February because humpback whales are all over the place. We saw them from the shore, from our kayak (about 20 ft from us). The Andaz is a great resort. Our room was just a little bit dated but lovely and the resort staff is terrific. Stonrly recommend having a car (and booking through Inspirato included complimentary parking that would otherwise be about $300 or so per day). We spent a huge amount of our time just lounging in and around the many pools at the hotel but and the rest taking short trips within Wailea and longer trops to other parts of the island. Just a fantastic time.
