Your kitchenette includes a glass stovetop, microwave/convection oven, refrigerator, and dishwasher as well as glasses, dishes, and cooking supplies; however, these are resort-style kitchenettes, and there are a limited set of cooking utensils and no oven.
Fairmont Kea Lani’s Signature restaurant Kō will be temporarily closed for enhancements from June 23 - October 24, 2025. During this time, guests can enjoy the Kea Lani Restaurant’s elevated evening offering—a buffet-style culinary journey featuring Kō-inspired dishes. Reservations are highly recommended.
The Polo Lawn located in front of the villa is occasionally used for outdoor events. For more information, please contact your Care Team.

Cancellation policy: The Standard Inspirato Cancellation Policy applies for this property. Please note the Peak Reservation policy applies for Christmas and New Year’s weeks and certain other travel dates.
Maximum occupancy: Up to two additional guests are permitted over the stated occupancy. Additional guests are accommodated on a pull-out sleeper sofa.
Pet policy: Well-behaved dogs weighing 20 lbs. or less from within the State of Hawai’i are permitted for a fee of $40/day. Out-of-state dogs are also welcome for a $40/day fee, but must adhere to quarantine regulations according to Hawai’i State Law. 8 perfect days at the Fairmont Kea Lani

It's difficult to describe how wonderful our experience at the Fairmont Kea Lani was. We have been to Hawai (Kapaula and Ohahu) twice before and were never overly impressed wth the trip. This trip completely flipped our opinion. The Kea Lani is spectacular. We stayed in a 3 bedroom beachfront villa (Makai). It was comfortable, had everything you would want in a villa (kitchen, gas grill outside, plunge pool, comfortable well appointed rooms, and plenty of space. We had 4 adults and 3 children (9/7) and it was perfect. We also heard from other guest that the hotel suites were very nice as well. The beach and pool area were wonderful. The beach has a private feel, plenty of space, and wonderful views. The multiple pools were all very nice, well maintained, and comfortable. The kids had an absolute blast at the beach and pool. The Food was good and had options, Pilani (sushi and bar), Ko (fine dining), Nicks Fishmarket, and Kea Lani Restaurant (for breakfast, Highly recommend getting a package that includes breakfast). Service was perfect. Everyone was responsive, helpful, and polite. A great call out to our daily room service staff for doing a really good job and the conceirge (Neko and the others) who helped us fulfill all our vacation needs (snorkeling tour, whale watching, and restaurants). In the end, absolutely one of the best vacation experiences we have had.

Fantastic Villa Experience

We had a great time in the Makai villa at the Kea Lani. The villa location is prime, just a few steps from the beach with an open view of the ocean from the ground floor and the master bedroom and secondary bedroom upstairs. The splash pool is a big bonus for the late afternoon after a day at the beach or main pools. The kitchen is on the small side but well equipped—enough to prep meals but of course there are so many restaurants in Wailea and Kihei that you may choose to eat out. Service was outstanding. One note—the master bedroom downstairs is identical to the upstairs bedroom floor plan but doesn’t have the big walk in closet and view of the ocean. Since we had just two couples we didn’t have to share the upstairs bathroom.

Paradise in a very comfortable and wonderful Villa

We had an amazing time staying in the Makai Villa at the Fairmont Kea Lani. The unit was fully updated very recently, the bedrooms and the kitchen/living area are all very comfortable, with amazing amounts of space throughout. The daily housekeeping was wonderful, and there is a brand new washer/dryer in the Villa that we used (and housekeeping provided supplies for each day.) The back of the Villa opens to a beautiful grassy area that is right next to the beach --- this was an awesome benefit for my wife and I and our three boys to have almost direct access right to the beach. The Villa is also next to the pools and restaurants, and arguably provides the best of all worlds --- close to it all but you have the private space in the Villa to spread out as a family. Overall, we would give the Makai Villa absolutely a 10/10 rating!

Amazing service in an amazing place

This is a great location. The facility is beautiful. The best part of this place is there is a nice open ground between the villa and beach and place to enjoy sunset over the water,

They have the best staff at the hotel/resort. While the villa was not wheel chair assessible, but the engineering staff built a ramp over the steps in a few hours and all the staff was very helpful with a big smile all the time. They made it a special vacation for our family.

2nd time at the Fairmont

First time with a 3 bedroom. Had my wife and I plus three 19 year olds. The shared bathroom situation upstairs would be an issue for two couples unless they know each other really well. Worked great for 3 college roommates already accustomed to sharing space. Can't wait to come back again.
