Country elegance

Very good pool and spa experience.Very warm and welcoming hospitality by all the staff. We stayed in a unit near the spa which worked out well for us. Not al lot to do around the resort so needed to stay close to the facility.

We gave feedback that the lighting in the room needs to be improved and more outlets for electronics a must but they were very accommodating. Would go back since it is driving distance from NYC.

25th Wedding Anniversary

This was an incredibly romantic getaway. Accommodations & staff were amazing. Private dining experience fireside in the library was the perfect touch to a perfect long weekend. The spa facilities were top notch as well.

Great retreat with great service

It was a very nice property and and room was great, loved the heated floors in this cold winter weather. Only issue was that the room was on the first floor, and at no fault of the property, the occupants in the room above kept stomping as if they were going to fall through the ceiling. So sound insulation between the floors is not the best but it was only the stomping that was heard and nothing else

Beautiful and attentive

The Mayflower was beautiful, and they had the best customer service I have ever had the pleasure of enjoying. Pre-trip planning was great. While we were there, no request was too great or too small, and everything was addressed within minutes. Our room and the grounds were spacious and lovely. The room had a balcony overlooking the Shakespeare garden, which was so nice. We had turn-down service in the evenings with little gifts left every night. They had fire pits at night and smores. The Spa was top notch, with great technicians. A French press coffee and tea setup was placed in our room every evening. The restaurant was above average, but not as nice as the rest of the resort. They recommended many places within a short driving distance. The resort is in the mountains with not much nearby, but we found a number of lovely shops, bookstores, etc.
