Things to Know

• While emergency medical evacuation insurance is included, general travel insurance is not and is strongly recommended. Contact our partner Travelex for quotes and additional information. 
• This is a family-friendly program. The minimum age requirement is 8 years old. 
• At least two occupants must be 16 years old or younger in order to book this package.
• Members can fly into Cape Town International Airport in Cape Town (CPT), South Africa, any time on June 20, June 23, or July 5, 2026 depending on which program dates are booked. 
• Members can fly out of OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg (JNB), South Africa, any time after 4 p.m. on June 29, July 2, or July 14, 2026 depending on which program dates are booked. 
• International airfare is not included in the cost of this experience.
• Passports are required and must be valid for six months after departure date from South Africa.
• There is a limit to the amount of luggage you can bring with you on the South Africa Experience. Due to the use of small, chartered aircraft, your luggage weight must be below the 44-pound weight limit. This includes any handbags or carry-on luggage that you are carrying with you on your journey.
• It is essential that you carry soft-sided bags (such as a duffel bag) with you on your journey. One piece of hard-sided luggage is fine. The cargo holds on the chartered planes are small, and hard-shelled suitcases will not fit and/or fill up the hold very quickly.
• Please consult with your physician for any vaccinations recommended for this region. While no vaccines are required, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends the following inoculations: yellow fever, meningitis, hepatitis A/B, polio, and typhoid along with malaria tablets. Please speak with your physician to determine what is best for you as Inspirato cannot legally give medical advice.
• By booking this Inspirato Only experience, the member represents and warrants that he/she is physically and otherwise fit to travel. While there are no strenuous activities planned, we will have extensive walking and active tours. We also cannot guarantee all restaurants, activities, and tours will be mobility-adaptive.
• Dates, activities, and pricing are subject to change.  
• If a certain number of packages are not booked for this experience, Inspirato will use its discretion to discontinue the program. In this rare instance, we will work with you on alternative travel arrangements.

Additional Information: 

• Cancellation policy: Within three business days of booking, cancel for a full refund. After three business days, reservations are nonrefundable unless Inspirato is able to resell the package. If the package is resold, the Inspirato member will receive 90% back in Travel Credits. If applicable, this would be refunded four business days after the package is resold. If there is a waitlist for the package type, the reservation is not canceled in the member’s account until the waitlist is notified and a package is resold. Reservations may be canceled at no charge if there is no waitlist and the package will be released on Inspirato.com.
