A Sanctuary on Monterey Peninsula

Land, sea and sky meet in Carmel Valley to bring you a world-class getaway rife with recreational activities. Rolling vineyards, orchards and gardens comprise the grounds of Bernardus Lodge & Spa, a starry-eyed getaway. On a larger scale, Carmel Valley Ranch's sprawling 500 acres include on-site hiking trails, a dedicated bee apiary, and equine center. Carmel Valley serves as a sophisticated playground for vacationers of all ages. Even better, Monterey County is on Wine Enthusiast's list of top 10 global wine destinations and the area enjoys warmer, less foggy weather than the nearby coast. The options at your accommodations should suffice but you're also just a quick drive to dozens of activities and the charming town of Carmel-by-the-Sea should you decide to sightsee.
