  • World-famous retreat renovated over the course of seven years
  • 13 cabins

You’ll know that your western accommodations are authentic when you spot Butch Cassidy’s name carved into the bar at Dunton Hot Springs. This cluster of rural cabins was established in 1885 as a camp to house miners. When the ore dried up, the property enjoyed a brief life as a cattle ranch. Ultimately, the property was purchased by the current owners in 1994 and renovated from top to bottom, a seven-year undertaking. Guests can now admire the fruits of this labor in every detail; exquisite antiques, carefully laid cottonwood timbers, and copper tubs. When you aren’t resting, sink into the comforting depths of the hot springs for which the area is famous.
