The closest airport is Marseille Provence Airport (MRS), which is about an hour away. There are daily flights from Paris and London, and in the summer, Delta Airlines flies direct from New York to Nice. Please note, however, that Nice is about a 2.5-hour drive. The downtown Paris train station is only a 2.5-hour train from Avignon. Once in Avignon, it is about an hour to the home. Your Destination Concierge can help arrange a rental car in advance, or deliver a car to the home, so you can drive through the countryside, discover the hill towns, and explore local markets.
