Getting Around

Visitors traveling to Playa del Carmen will most likely land at Cancun International Airport (CUN), just 35 miles (56 km) north of the resort. CUN is served by major carriers including American, Delta, Frontier, jetBlue, and United. The resort will help coordinate transportation from the airport: a private van for up to six people costs $140 plus tax (each way), with each additional passenger costing $20 per person, up to 12 total passengers. You can also upgrade to an Escalade, which costs $170 plus tax (each way) for up to six people. You most likely won’t need a rental car during your vacation, as the hotel can help arrange excursions should you need to leave the hotel.
