Getting Around

There are several different ways to get to Victoria, British Columbia. Air Canada offers flights to Victoria International Airport from Vancouver, Calgary, Portland, and Seattle. Other airlines offer flights with connections through major west coast cities. United offers non stop flights from San Francisco to Victoria, and Delta, Alaska and WestJet also offer service.The Fairmont Empress is 15 miles, or a 30-minute drive from the airport. Taxis are available, or your destination concierge can reserve a rental car for you. You can also take a seaplane from Seattle’s Lake Union, which will drop you directly at Victoria’s Inner Harbour, just steps from the hotel. Alternatively, you can take a 35-minute helicopter ride from Vancouver to downtown Victoria. There are also several ferries that run between Vancouver and Victoria.
