Location

Fly into Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL), which is a 10- to 15-minute drive from the Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach. The concierge can arrange transportation from the airport. The hotel is oceanfront and water taxis and rideshare services are readily available, so we do not recommend renting a car.

Our Experience.

The hotel and the room are older and dated. The second bedroom’s AC unit upon turning and off made a very loud thud sound. It was fixed after the second night. The restaurants were excellent. I don’t think the hotel was a god value and I wouldn’t stay there again.

Power outage

We had a short 2 night, one full day stay on our way from the Midwest to Caribbean. Goal was to spend the day at the pool with two small kids. The morning before we arrived, a storm resulted in no power for the pool and hot tub — each of which were then too cold to use (not just for us - they were empty during our stay). No one at hotel mentioned the issue at check-in, and we were repeatedly told the next day (by pool personnel and front desk) that power was in process of being repaired. It never was. Not the fault of Inspirato — we never reached out to them, since the hotel kept telling us a fix was close that day. Unit was otherwise nice, with an ocean view and large enough for a family of 4, with one child on the pullout. Beach was nice — water a little rough for small kids but was warmer than the hot tub and chairs were supplied. Restaurant by pool was nice with friendly staffg

Overall, the accommodations were nice. Location of hotel is good. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful but don't think they had enough staff, particularly at peak times. Good for a few days or weekend.
