Location

Fly into Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL), which is a 10- to 15-minute drive from the Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach. The concierge can arrange transportation from the airport. The hotel is oceanfront and water taxis and rideshare services are readily available, so we do not recommend renting a car.

Not terrible but below the Inspirato Standard

The Conrad is a 3-4 star resort, years from its prime. The hotel and property are adequate but not what I have grown to expect from Inspirato. It's a lower floor unit which will require you to sleep through loud engines and constant music from the street at all hours of the night. The unit is nice - but note there is no washer and dryer. The challenges are the property. The spa is substantially below expectations and the beach service is slow and needs updating. For a weekend getaway and quick stop in Ft Lauderdale the unit is fine, but don't expect to be wowed.

Solid family getaway

The location and service at this property are both excellent. Our concierge Lisa was very helpful in coordinating ground transport and access to the Ne Year’s Eve party on site. The unit itself and the east tower in which it was located both need significant upgrades to get it to Inspirato standards. Noise levels from A1A are also quite loud until about 1 am so bring a noise machine to help mitigate these issues.

Nice room/good location

The suite was very suitable for us (2 adult couples). The space was nice and the patios were great with a nice view of the ocean, which was across the street. Service at the hotel was good. The Italian restaurant was excellent. While I'm sure it was busier than usual when we went between Xmas and New Year's, it is a bustling place. I'd look elsewhere for a quiet beach trip. But it is very close to much of South Florida and many things to do. Only complaint is that there was a lot of activity in the floor above ours, particularly moving chairs at all hours. In summary, very nice room and views. Well-located but not a quiet retreat.

Relaxing

We really enjoyed the Conrad. The unit was well appointed, the views were beautiful for sunrise and was set up perfectly for 4 people. The Conceirge staff was incredibly attentive and responsive. They made everything so enjoyable! The 2 restaurants on property were 5 star and we’d definitely go back to both. The property itself was slightly dated but the not nearly enough to not want to go back and enjoy the sun and beach. And the service at the hotel from check in to special requests and parking made it really easy and relaxing.
