Quiet hours are from 9 p.m. to 8 a.m, please keep noise to a minimum. Outside of the quiet hours, please be considerate of your neighbors and keep noise at a reasonable level. There will be a $500 fine assessed to your folio for each infraction.
For booking in residence services such as chefs, spa treatments, or fitness classes, please consult with your Care team as there are limitations with external vendors in this residence.
Please note for stays at APRE, there is a fee of at least $1,500 MXN for each grocery delivery; fees will vary depending on order size. This is outside of the Inspirato standard and will be added to your folio. This fee is not waived and is also outside of the $25 USD standard amount.
Pool Access: Enjoy access to the three pools exclusive to APRE as well as the Punta Ballena Beach Club pool. Please note that when staying in this residence, you will not have access to the pools and lounge chairs of Esperanza Hotel Resort nor Hotel Residence Club.
Beach Access: You’ll have access to the Esperanza Hotel Resort beach area, but please note that you will not be able to use beach equipment including lounge chairs and umbrellas.
The beach at the resort is a wonderful place to lay out and build sandcastles but is not recommended for swimming. There are many swimmable beaches 10 to 15 minutes away in either direction.
Please note, Esperanza is conducting a balcony and pool enhancement project that is scheduled to be completed by the end of December 2025. Construction takes place Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Some construction noise will impact your stay during this time. Please contact your Care team for additional information.

Cancellation policy: The Standard Inspirato Cancellation Policy applies for this property. Please note the Peak Reservation policy applies for Christmas and New Year's weeks and certain other travel dates.

Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) is located at San José del Cabo, Baja California Sur, Mexico. The airport serves the Los Cabos area: San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas. Most major airlines offer service here, with frequent flights from Los Angeles, Phoenix, San Francisco, Dallas, Houston, San Diego, Denver, Chicago and Seattle.

Your Destination Concierge can help you arrange a rental car or transport from the airport. If you take advantage of the golf cart ride to the beach club, you may not need a car some days. However, you'll likely want one to drive to activities, into town for restaurants and shopping, and possibly for a day trip. Forbes got it Right! Finest 5 Stars!

STUNNING property. The villa is much larger than the Inspirato professional pictures indicate. The property must have two grounds keeps per each guest, as it was immaculate. The food is DELICIOUS. The views were even better. Lucas took great care of us - we'll definitely be back! When we arrived, we saw that Forbes recently awarded the property as one of the finest 5 star resorts in the world...it shows!

The kids club was also great...normally, these are boring for the kids. Here, the kids LOVED the activities (e.g., make your own pinata, make your own stuffed animal, feed the koi fish, etc.) and could not wait to go back.

Very nice!

We had 2 villas next to each other for our family trip. Food was wonderful, lots of restaurants. Service everywhere was outstanding. The "zero-entry" pool was great for little kids. Not many other kids' activities - the daycare is limited, there is a small swing set area and basketball court. The grounds are beautifully maintained. They aren't particularly kid friendly - a good number of low retaining walls where the kids could step on the wall and fall many feet to concrete. The villa's enormous balconies were great! Grill is included. We couldn't get the a/c to be warmer than 19, which was quite cold for us. Comfy beds, but a wider assortment of pillows (firm vs soft) would be great. Samara, the host, was very friendly. We are returning next year!

Lots to do on property. Plenty of food options. Great pools. Weather is perfect. All you can ask for for a relaxing week.

Horrible Residence

First the pro:

The staff is great and very helpful.

Cons:

I wish I could say there were more pros, but there aren't. The first night we arrived we found that the room that was supposed to have 2 queen beds was really 2 full size beds. Normally this wouldn't be a problem, but thinking that an adult couple can share each of these beds comfortably, is just a wish. Next the bed that was in the primary was so old and had such a dip in it, that I stripped the bed to turn it. Surprised to find that the "never turn" mattress had been turned upside down! The under side was so ripped up, it was shocking that this would be in a unit that is supposed to be a 5 star resort. I would have expected this to be in a red roof inn (and I would have been shocked that a low budget hotel would have this). The rest of the unit was ok, but not nice enough to demand the value that they say it is. After complaining that night, the concierge replaced the mattress with a new one (thus the staff comment about being great). The problem was that upon getting back on the second day (from being out on a boat all afternoon) we found the unit smelled like sewage! We called maintenance and they came and tried to clean something out of the ceiling. They informed us that they had problems with the unit upstairs and that there was nothing they could do. So we spent three more nights either sleeping on the balcony or having the doors open all night just to help with the smell. Had I not had my whole family of 10 there, we would have gone home. The costs of the food are ridiculous as well. I expected high prices, but $21 for a scoop of ice cream at the pool? Come on.

Anyway, this is a very nice property (grounds) but the unit itself needs to be gutted and redone with all new furniture.

So you yourself a favor and save your pass days for another home or hotel. The upside is that Inspirato gave me a free trip to compensate for this one.
