  • Quiet hours are from 9 p.m. to 8 a.m, please keep noise to a minimum. Outside of the quiet hours, please be considerate of your neighbors and keep noise at a reasonable level. There will be a $500 fine assessed to your folio for each infraction.
  • For booking in residence services such as chefs, spa treatments, or fitness classes, please consult with your Care team as there are limitations with external vendors in this residence.
  • Please note for stays at APRE, there is a fee of at least $1,500 MXN for each grocery delivery; fees will vary depending on order size. This is outside of the Inspirato standard and will be added to your folio. This fee is not waived and is also outside of the $25 USD standard amount.
  • Pool Access: Enjoy access to the three pools exclusive to APRE as well as the Punta Ballena Beach Club pool. Please note that when staying in this residence, you will not have access to the pools and lounge chairs of Esperanza Hotel Resort nor Hotel Residence Club.
  • Beach Access: You’ll have access to the Esperanza Hotel Resort beach area, but please note that you will not be able to use beach equipment including lounge chairs and umbrellas.
  • The beach at the resort is a wonderful place to lay out and build sandcastles but is not recommended for swimming. There are many swimmable beaches 10 to 15 minutes away in either direction.

  • Cancellation policy: The Standard Inspirato Cancellation Policy applies for this property. Please note the Peak Reservation policy applies for Christmas and New Year's weeks and certain other travel dates.

Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) is located at San José del Cabo, Baja California Sur, Mexico. The airport serves the Los Cabos area: San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas. Most major airlines offer service here, with frequent flights from Los Angeles, Phoenix, San Francisco, Dallas, Houston, San Diego, Denver, Chicago and Seattle.

Your Destination Concierge can help you arrange a rental car or transport from the airport. If you take advantage of the golf cart ride to the beach club, you may not need a car some days. However, you'll likely want one to drive to activities, into town for restaurants and shopping, and possibly for a day trip. Your concierge can arrange for a car service if you want to hit the town at night.

Nice Cabo option

We first visited this property in 2017. It feels a bit dated upon return. The overall property and grounds are beautiful like all the high end resorts in Cabo. The villa units are nice but lacking attention to detail and upgrades to original furnishings. It didn’t feel like the overall quality Inspirato managed properties typically provide. We arrived a bit past high volume spring break time and it was still hard to find lounge chairs at the nearby large villa pool. There are 2 smaller villa pools but they were not outfitted with many chairs and had no service. The Punta Ballena beach club is a nice must have addition to the villa amenities. Much smaller but on the ocean and with great service. Even for Cabo the beach access is limited especially as a villa vs hotel or residence guest. Pickleball complex was nice. It does require a fee and reservations. The fitness centers at the villas and Punta Ballena beach club were adequately equipped but both are small.

Cabo!

Fantastic trip! We had a fabulous time playing pickleball and sitting on the beach. Cocina Del Mar was delicious with expected fireworks after dark.

Our issues centered around the appliances. The gas grill unexpectedly produced a fireball when we turned it on, and the resulting smoke set off the fire alarm. The stovetop was finicky, and the well-used pans tended to have food sticking to them. It took 3 dishwasher cycles to clean the dishes. We had ants in the primary bathroom vanity. Maybe time to replace appliances?

Perfect winter getaway from the frigid US weather

The highlight was the sailing excursion by Cabo Adventure. We witnessed more whales up close than we’ve seen in a lifetime. Majestic animals migrated to Cabo in the winter were amazing to watch.

Relaxing Couples Vacation

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Our recent couples' vacation was nothing short of spectacular! We traveled with three other couples over Labor Day weekend, which, as it turns out, is the off-season. This timing was perfect for us because the resort was blissfully uncrowded, allowing us to truly unwind and enjoy each other's company without the hustle and bustle.

The living arrangements were impeccable—spacious, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. We felt like we had our own little oasis. The food was a highlight of the trip, with a range of delicious options that catered to all tastes. Each meal was a treat, whether we were dining at the resort or enjoying a special night out.

A standout feature of our stay was the concierge service. They were exceptionally attentive, always ready to assist with any request, and offered great recommendations for local activities. Their efforts certainly made our experience seamless and stress-free.

The only minor hiccup was the lack of poolside service. While the main pools were lovely, it was a bit inconvenient having to either go up to the bar ourselves or flag down a server for drinks and snacks. Additionally, setting up our own chairs and sometimes facing shortages of towels at the station added a bit of hassle.

Despite these small inconveniences, the overall experience was fantastic. The tranquility, superb accommodations, and exceptional service made this vacation truly memorable. We're already planning our next getaway and will certainly consider returning. Overall, I'd rate this trip a solid 9.5/10. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable escape!
