Location

Fly into Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ), located in the eastern Dominican Republic. Direct flights are available from many U.S. cities, including Miami, Charlotte, New York, Atlanta and Newark.

Once you arrive at your residence, you'll likely find a rental car isn't necessary. Beaches and resort amenities are close at hand. Your Destination Concierge is happy to arrange transportation from the airport and also to discuss an Avis rental car if you think you'll want to explore a bit more.

Almost a perfect stay

The house was wonderful with large bedrooms and common areas. We would stay here again. One problem was a leaky roof in one of the bedrooms during rain storms. This was fixed, but it took 2 days.

The staff were great and friendly. But except for the concierge no one really spoke enough English for detailed communication. We all got by, but for the money this house cost we were expecting some additional English speaking help.

The advance request for golf was either ignored or the person in charge did not understand that this was a 100% golf only trip and getting on the courses we requested was very important. Plenty of advance notice was given (months), but we did not get our tee times or onto the 2nd course we requested. But once again, the concierge came through for us and we got onto Corales, a fabulous golf course, but we had to play one day at 8am.

All in all, except for the above semi-minor problems i would have a 5/5 rating.

Great vacation!

Punta Cana was beautiful. Two families with 4 adults and 3 kids stayed at the property. Very nice house with pool and 3 golf carts. Short ride to beaches. Very nice as lots of space in the resort to feel secluded. Golf was nice. Took boat ride on Hispanola tours and was very well received by all. Chef Bolivar was great. Each day had breakfast at house and 3/6 nights did dinner. All were very tasty. Francisco did a wonderful job of being available, but not interfering with the day. He also makes some food margaritas. All house staff were wonderful. Carolyn, our concierge, was very easy to work with and was always available to our needs. I did not know what to expect with this trip, but was pleasantly surprised. This was a wonderful trip. Would come back.

Absolutely wonderful vacation!

Our group had an amazing stay at Villa Los Cocos! Working with Mayra, our Destination Planner, to coordinate travel plans and activities among several families was handled flawlessly. The on-site staff really took our stay to another level. The food was amazing! Chef Bolivar had our group looking forward to every mealtime, the Dominican menu was one of our favorites! I’m sure there are amazing restaurants but we enjoyed an amazing menu at the property. Francisco really kept the household running smoothly and we enjoyed amazing coffee in the morning and other drinks that became group favorites. Housekeeping was invaluable during our stay! Andrea kept up with several families with active kids. The Scape Park was a big hit with our group, golfing was excellent, and the spa highly recommended. I’ve been an Inspirato member since 2015 and overall, this was the best Inspirato stay to date!

Relaxation personified

Overall very good trip. Even though I booked it at the least minute, the Inspirato team quickly took care of everything. Lourdes, was exceptional as usual and quickly connected with me to understand my plans. I can’t say enough about how great she is to work with on these trips. And then she connected me to Paula who was equally impressive. Upon my arrival, Paula went over every detail and even texted periodically to ensure all was ok. She is extremely professional and attentive. The chef, Bolivar, was top notch. He makes a really good paella and is very responsive. Lastly, the house is absolutely wonderful. I didn’t experience any issues during my stay!

Paradise!

This was our first trip to Punta Cana and I think we are spoiled for life, because this house was incredible. We traveled with my two sisters and their families (11 people total). The number of bedrooms and layout was perfect, every room was spacious and comfortable with beautiful bathrooms and decor. The outdoor pool and lounge areas were just heaven. The pool was plenty big for our group, and while there isn't much of a view (unless you like looking at a golf course) it really didn't matter to us because of the gorgeous landscaping and sublime weather.

The highlight of this house though is the incredible staff. Andrea was our butler and she truly spoiled us with amazing service and her warm, engaging personality. We all felt truly pampered by her, she was lovely! Emannuel was our chef and his meals were so delicious. It was incredibly nice to not have to mobilize the group to go out to eat, not have to think about preparing anything or cleaning up. It was amazing! Housekeeping was friendly and unobtrusive.

Angie our location concierge was also a dream to work with. She was very communicative by text and was able to arrange last minute excursion ideas with ease. I highly recommend the snorkeling catamaran, we all agreed that was one of our favorites. She also recommended a trip to Macao beach which is about 30 minutes away and that was probably my favorite day. Beautiful local beach with waves and almost no seaweed (unfortunately the beach club had a lot of seaweed and wasn't my favorite beach to visit.)

Punta Cana was the best, I only hope that when we go back we can stay at Villa Los Cocos. We are spoiled for life!
