on the heart of Tuscany

Really enjoyed staying at this villa. Andi and his father were great and Simone did a great job helping us out with our reservations and our day. All the recommendations from Valentina was amazing and she set up a great itinerary for us. We were a little apprehensive as we’ve never been to Italy and we’re not really sure what to expect. But the people couldn’t have been nicer and everyone was very helpful and made for a fantastic experience. I will say if you can get there. Colle Bereto winery was a great experience and one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. Homemade bread and raviolis plus steak Florentine and tasting eight wines. What a great day. Villa is only 30 minutes or so to sienna and the driver that Inspirato had was fantastic. Good very comfortable vans and good drivers made for an stress-free trip. If you are going to rent a car, they will deliver one to the villa if you need it which was a huge help. I will tell you though you need an SUV to get to the Villa with the access road. It is a 2 mile gravel road that’s a little rough. Also I would recommend the Porter service if you have anything bigger than a carry-on because there are a lot of steps. The chef that came and did the pizzas in the outdoor pizza oven was great and so was the chef on the last night. She did a great meal at the house. I would highly recommend. In all the team did an unbelievable job for us and we had a great time in Italy.

Suggestions

it’s an incredible experience living in a beautiful villa that’s over 1000 years old

Nadia was incredible and Andi and his family were great.

Highly recommend the Colle Bereto wine tour. I do not recommend restaurant Arnolfo…unpleasant experience…snooty service, way overpriced and more than 4 hours to din

Breathtaking Stay in Tuscany

Our group had a beautiful stay at Villa Collina. In the heart of Tuscany, this Villa provided a comfortable stay with wonderful amenities. The pool, tennis court and pizza oven were enjoyed by all! Andi was the perfect host, making sure we had everything we needed during our stay. This place is a little slice of heaven and a great jumping off point to visit Siena, the Chianti region and other neighboring towns. We can’t wait to return!

Visit Villa Collina…..you won’t regret it

What made this destination so special was the wonderful care we received from Andy, our concierge, and his family, who have been caretakers of the property for over 35 years. Andy had some wonderful suggestions for adventures and experiences while staying at this beautiful Villa. He booked a private pizza party for us. The Chef was from Napoli and came to the villa where he cooked at least 5 different pizzas in the 900 year old outdoor oven. It was an experience of a lifetime and the pizzas - including the dessert - were amazing.

Andy also made several recommendations for meals out and even meals to be delivered. And he arranged everything for us so we didn’t have to do a thing He was very attentive while not being an intrusion during our stay. We fell in love with him and his family and hated to say goodbye. You will be in the best of hands if you choose to book this villa. (Also Sylvia, who arranged our train travel and made early suggestions before we arrived, was wonderful to work with. She was very prompt with communication prior to our arrival)

One comment about the villa: while it is a stunning villa with rich history dating back 900 years there are a lot of stairs which could be a problem for some. I actually loved the workout but we had guests that were older that struggled a bit. Other than that it was lovely and very remote. The property was incredible

Outside Il Grillo MoroA must: Il Moro….specialty is beefOn the terrace outside the villa. Great place to enjoy coffee in the AM or wine in the PMWine tasting Andy arranged for us. We had the VIP treatment and bought a couple of cases of their “biologic” wine. Our friends on the terrace and the view.

Villa Collina was fantastic

Just spent a week in Villa Collina in Tuscany. Our destination guide, Nadia Laalioui had the best suggestions for restaurants and places to visit. Being our second time to Tuscany and having been to the bigger or more tourist cities previously (Siena, Pisa, Florence) we made it a point to visit the smaller and less known towns (Montepulciano, Pienza, San Gimignano, Volterra, Casole d'Elsa, Radicondoli, San Galgano and the Montesiepi Abbey) and ate in some of the BEST restaurants (Ristorante Osteria del Borgo - Mensano, La Mandragola Restaurant - San Gimignano, Il Grillo Moro Restaurant, Ristorante Caffè Casolani - Casole d'Elsa, and Ristorante Arnolfo - Colle Val d'Elsa - Two Micheline Stars**). We also ate THE BEST PIZZA ANYWHERE ON THE PLANET made by Chef Nando's team and also, had a fantastic in Villa dinner prepared by Chef Beppe! All these were suggested by Nadia. Strongly suggest each of those towns and restaurants!
