Things to Know

• Passports are required and must be valid for six months after departure date from Rwanda and your passport should have at least two blank pages.
• A visa is required for travel to Kenya and Rwanda. The experiences team will provide further information on visas closer to departure.
• Yellow fever vaccine is mandatory for travel to Rwanda from Kenya. While no other vaccines are required for Kenya or Rwanda, we strongly suggest you speak to your physician to determine what is best for you as Inspirato cannot legally give medical advice. 
• While emergency medical evacuation insurance is included, it does not include regular trip insurance, so travel insurance is strongly recommended. 
• Members should arrive for this experience at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) in Kenya by 4 p.m. the day the experience begins on August 10, 2026.
• Members can depart from Kigali International Airport (KGL) in Rwanda any time after 4 p.m. on the day the experience ends on August 20, 2026.
• This experience includes one gorilla trek per person. You will have the option to add on an additional trek for an additional cost.
• By booking this Inspirato Only experience, the member represents and warrants that he/she is physically and otherwise fit to travel.
• Permits for gorilla trekking are nonrefundable. 
• There is a limit to the amount of luggage you can bring with you on this experience. Due to the use of small, chartered aircraft, your luggage may not exceed 33 pounds per person. This includes any handbags or carry-on luggage that you are carrying with you on your journey.
• It is essential that you carry soft-sided bags (such as a duffel bag) with you on your journey. One piece of hard-sided luggage is fine. The cargo holds on the chartered planes are small, and hard-shelled suitcases will not fit and/or fill up the hold very quickly.
• Minimum age for this experience is 18 years old. 
• Airport transfers are included in your package.

Additional Information: 

• Cancellation policy: Within three business days of booking, cancel for a full refund. After three business days, reservations are nonrefundable unless Inspirato is able to resell the package. If the package is resold, the Inspirato member will receive 90% back in Travel Credits. If applicable, this would be refunded four business days after the package is resold. If there is a waitlist for the package type, the reservation is not canceled in the member’s account until the waitlist is notified and a package is resold. Reservations may be canceled at no charge if there is no waitlist and the package will be released on Inspirato.com.
